Dr. Shannon M Tapia
Dr. Tapia is a board certified Geriatrician and Family Physician with over 10 years of experience in clinical practice is every setting related to aging and end of life. She is a Denver Native, and passionate about bringing person centered care, including regular communication with loved ones and those doing the caregiving.
Dr. Tapia’s services:
Frustrated with not having a PCP, much less someone trained in aging, to help you navigate the process for you or your loved one in a way that makes sense for you (calls, texts, virtual visits, house calls, emails)? Dr. Tapia practiced in the system for over 10 years and knows how detrimental it is. Hence, she’s opting out so she can best serve those she cares for.

Dr. Tapia offers Geriatric and medical consults, capacity evaluations, and Medical Aid In Dying for CO consults for a flat rate of 300$/hour. Typical first time consults take up to 3 hours, however Dr. Tapia does not bill for the time you or loved ones take to get the information to her.

While Dr. Tapia does not yet currently offer Primary Care and recommends keeping your PCP, she will continue to be available to anyone who paid for a first time consult thereafter for a monthly membership fee of 100$ per month as your consulting Geriatrician.

Depending on distance in Denver Metro Area, there may be additional fees related to travel and time if House Calls are required or requested outside of a specific geographic radius.
